When making the production titles we used the software called Adobe photoshop. On this software we choose a picture and we decided to create the production titles for our film trailer. We have decided we will be adding two production titles along with a black screen with introducing the directors names. This production title we have created was with the camera reel and we just adapted it slightly by using the blurring tool to blur the edges of reel, giving a softer effect to the overall production title. We decided to make the image smaller so that we have a black boarder, which would help to give a contrast of the image. The production titles are important within a trailer as this allows the audience to recognise who produced the film and show acknowledgement for it.

We then decided to put the image from photoshop into the Adobe premier elements 10 where we are putting together our trailer. When we put the image into this software we were experimenting with the different effects on the photos. We came across this effect called the line drawing and so we added this to one of the film reel then added additive dissolve for it to fade into the original image so it shows a transition of the full production title. When adding the name of the production title we were playing around with where to place the title in order find the best place for the title with the film reel, so we decided to put it on in one of the coils of the reels as it seems apart of the overall title. We used white capital letters, so that the title will stand out on the overall production title.

The second production title that we have choose to called the 'Voyage Productions'. We used a a boat sailing on the sea and making a black and white copy and adding additive dissolve to it would fade from black and white to the original colour and we made it smaller as we thought it would suit better with a thicker black boarder as it would look contrast better in our trailer. The font that we used called Adobe caslon pro in size 50 in capital letters and we have placed at the centre of the screen as this will allow the audience to grab attention towards it as it will be one of the first things that they will read in order to know who produced the film.
