The target audience which would generically look like is shown, as we we have chosen our film to be aimed at the audience aimed at 15-25 as most people from this category would watch these types of films. Also according to the peal and dean website it showed me that most horror film are watched by 15-25 year old as 79% of them went to watch the film, which showed it was more popular with the teenager and the young adults. so we would expect that more young adults to come and watch our film as we think that the content would more suitable for them and would enjoy watching as well., including film such as Insidious, paranormal activity and The conjuring. It shows that from paranormal activity more male watched the film, suggesting that it could be the same for our film as they would be more interested in our horror film, however there is a high number of females who watched the film suggesting that it still is an interest for women to go and see the film.This type of audience would usually be interested in the latest news, participating in sport or for women they may like shopping, but as a mixed gender interest a lot of them would hang out together. So they would usually go and watch horror film together in order to gain an experience as a whole and be able to share there experience of it. This helps to make the film more popular and well known as they will spread there own experiences, allowing to attract other viewer to go and watch the film. Also we would expect people who are middle class and working class to watch our film as it something that may just want to scare them or for them to find out more about the true story which links with it as well, which shows that they are more believe in these spiritual story than upper class as they won't believe in these true stories as it could be a way of intriguing the audience into watch the film.
