MOODBOARD

The moodboard shows a representation of how horror films including some elements of our film. most of these are shown will be in our trailer. The first picture a group of friends laughing at something suggests that they will be the main protagonists in the film, and shows that will be facing the main plot in the film which may result in them separating in the film. The representation of them is that they are innocent and gullible and would be usually in the horror films they include of a female protagonist who found out about the ghost and would usually investigate the past of a well known haunted haunted house or place as there is usually a haunted house in all horror films as this allows to establish where the film is going to be set. This will start to create tension for the audience as it will create enigma codes intriguing them to find out more which would make them go and watch the film. We have based our film in a forest and a haunted house. This will adhere to the stereotypes of what to expect in a horror film as this will show the ghost would follow from the forest or be lurking there and will be hinted in the trailer. The element of showing fear, suggesting that horror trailers will aim to scare the audience which would make them more intrigued to find out more about the film as this will show reveal some sort of true story.We also have a video camera of a women talking suggesting that some horror films will allow the audience the to get involved and know more about the protagonist on a more personally level as it will be something she keeps as a secret in the film causing dramatic irony. Then we have an old photo showing some past story, linking the story in the film, allowing to show that it will give some historic background to the audience, making it more believable, which shows a convention of a horror film, which will make the audience more intrigued in watching the film. Then the spiritual cards is an element that we may include in our film to show some sort of past and something that show a modern prediction of what will create tension for the friends and builds scare for them as well. Then a picture of a possessed women is shown suggesting that some point in the film will show that someone close will be possessed and will start to hurt the other characters in the film. This is a convention of a horror film as this will start to show some tension as the possession of someone close can lead to a death of a characters. This will be adding an element to our film as this will adhere to it.
